Emoji code breaker

For this self-isolation task, I did an emoji code breaker where you have to find the right emoji with a number underneath it then add and subtract the number combinations. I found this really fun but challenging at the same time because you always have to look back to see if you have the correct emoji, luckily I double-checked all of them and I think that I got them all correct.

This is my daily maths challenge for Monday the theme was duck eggs. I really enjoyed this task because I just kept thinking of new ways to solve this problem. At first, I went from 2 an added even numbers to it that hopefully added up to 16 then I went to 4 and so on so on. Out of 1-5 1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest, I rate it a... 2 because it was pretty easy and hard at the same time.

This is my maths challenge for today the theme is baking. You have to figure out how many kgs are in each bag and all of the bags have a different amount. This activity was really hard at the start but then I started to get the hang of it. I figured out that bag 1 has 5kgs of flour, bag 2 has 2kgs of flour and bag 3 has 6kgs of flour. Out of 1-5 1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest, I rate it a... 4 because it was really hard at first and then I understood the riddle and it got a bit easier.

Chapter Challenge Covid-19 poster

This week for Chapter Challenge I did a poster about how to avoid Covid-19. I made one online and one offline, I used some examples of ones that have already been made. I tried to use a bright colour for the background so people know that this is serious. I was actually pretty fun to make and it kept me aware of what I need to do during this time. I found out a new setting on Google drawings called Crop shapes where you can crop the image and make it into a shape, I thought this was really cool. This is my maths challenge for today we had to make $5 worth of food with all the food that had their own prices so we had to match them up to create $5. This was really fun to do because I just kept thinking and thinking of different way to make $5. In the end, I made 5 different ways to create $5 I tried to use all of the foods to make it more interesting. Out of 1-5 1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest, I rate it a... 4 because when you think the answer is correct and then you recheck it your like oh I forgot to add this.

This is my daily maths challenge the theme was matchsticks. You had to move 3 matchsticks to make 3 boxes. I really enjoy these type of challenges because they make you think and they make you think is there any other possible ways to solve this challenge. Out of 1-5 1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest, I rate it a... 2 because it took me about 1 minute to solve this problem.

 

Anzac Art

Today I made a piece of Anzac art online. I made a poppy on Google drawings and filled it with images that relate to Anzac day, and around that I have written words of what I thought while looking at those photos. This task was really fun and quick and easy for me, I really enjoyed looking mote into Anzac day. Out of a simple star a shooting star and a Supernova as the best, I rate it a SUPERNOVA!.

Drawing Challenge

This week all of the family did a few rounds drawing by the theme of cartoon characters, we all had a time limit of 15 minutes. I think that all of the family really enjoyed doing this because it was quick and fun. While we were doing this activity we kept the positive vibe coming because some of us aren't as good as others at drawing and that's ok.

Ch Ch week 2 term 2 Design

This week for Chapter Challenge I did Design of an ad for Jucie-o, one of the main brands from your book Tails of the fourth grade nothing. First I write down my script, then I designed the logo to go on the bottle. After that, I begged dad to film it, and he did! it took us about 6 tries to get it perfect. I really enjoyed doing it because it was really fun and exciting. Out of a simple star a shooting star and a Supernova as the best, I think it is definitely a SUPERNOVA!

Daily maths challenge

Today's maths challenge was really fun, the theme was shapes. You had to count how many shapes were in the shape, then you had to make your own. I made a triangle because it is really simple and lots can fit in it. I enjoyed doing this because it kept me occupied trying lots of other shapes.

Today I did a maths challenge that I really enjoyed, the topic was matchsticks. You had to use all 9 sticks and make 6 squares, I found this really fun because it was challenging. I did a little sketch of it on a notepad. I really liked this because it keeps you thinking, is there any other ways to solve it?.

This is my maths challenge, the theme was bowling pins. This task was a little bit confusing at the start because I didn't understand the question but when I understood it I realized how easy it was. I used some text box's to right in the answers, I am pretty sure I got them all right.

Today I decided to do a maths challenge, the theme was pirates treasure. This task was very easy in my opinion so I didn't really enjoy it. I used arrows to explain how to solve the problem and I also write down the steps for the solution.   

Maths activity 3

This is my third maths activity challenge, it is all about times tables. It was really cool doing it at home because I didn't really understand how to do the high number times tables but mum showed me how to do them and now I know that it is really easy. I rate the difficulty level out of 5 a 3 because I wasn't sure how to do them at the start but then I got the hang of it later through the test. I think that I got all of them right!

Anzac day activity

Sometime this week it will be Anzac Day so I have decided to make a poppy wreath out of felt that I have. I really enjoyed doing it around my family at home. I got items from around the house that is in a circle shape to trace onto the felt. Out of a Simple star a Shooting star and a SUPERNOVA as the best, I choose a SUPERNOVA!

Term 2 Chapter Challenge

This week for Chapter Challange I did Research Center about New York City, It was a bit weird doing it at home because you have so much free time to make it a SUPERNOVA!!. For my brochure I used the online template that the teachers had put on there for us after I did that I still had so much time to do something else so I decided to make another one on paper which I really liked doing. Out of a Simple star a Shooting star and a Supernova as the best I think my brochures are definitely a SUPERNOVA.
