Christmas activity 3

This is my third activity for the Christmas Countdown, 2  recipes for reindeers that have to include carrots but you have to make them your own. firstly I made Carrot cookies then I made a carrot salad, one sweet and one savoury. It was easy to make because I have done something like this before on camp food rotations so it gave me some tips.

Christmas activity 2

For my second activity of the Christmas Countdown, I made a wrapping paper Xmas tree theme. I made a shape that looked like a tree then copied and pasted it with different angles and colours. I kept doing that until the whole page is covered. overall I rate it a 10/10 because I really like what I have done.

Christmas activity 1

For the last week and a half of school, we have got 4 Christmas activities to do so far. For my first activity, I chose option 2 make a reef online (Rudolph level). I made it on google drawings, I made some things on my reef with a tool called curve and it was tricky to use because I never knew how to use it before. and then I added some clip art to it. overall I rate it a 9/10 because I really like it and i would have this hanging on my door.

Whetu survivor celebration

Since recently we have been doing survivor rotations, the teachers have made a celebration day for us with three rotations.

Orienteering:
We did orienteering with miss Sowden. Before I did that rotation I had no clue what that word meant but after the rotation I learnt what the word meant. (trying to find things with a map as a race)
It was fun trying to find the letters around the school, but also it was really hard to find them on the map because they weren't exactly where the map directed them to be. Even though we were the last group to find all our letters we figured it out pretty fast.

Fire:
for our fire rotation, we as a group all had a turn using a flint and were pretty successful when we did. Then after that, we as a troop made a tipi out of sticks as if we were in a bush and wanted to make a fire. After all of the troops had done it, Mrs Kennedy tried to start a fire with newspaper and dry birds nest. Every time Mrs Kennedy tried to make a fire she made a really good spark but nothing would catch to the spark.

Food:
For the food rotation, we made a sweet and a savoury. A sweet banana filled with marshmallows and chocolate chips and a savoury potato filled with cheese and ham. out of ten, I rate my potato 8.5/10 because it was really good but after a while, it started to go gritty. I rate my banana a 9/10 because overall it was really good but also really messy to eat.
