CC W2 T1 Away with Words

This week I did Away with Words, a letter to parents or grandparents to try and persuade them to "Buy you some new shoes" even though I don't need any shoes. I wrote my letter to mum and dad then got the teacher to print it out, there was still some room at the bottom of the page so I decided to draw some FAKE old shoes and then a pair of shoes that I really like. But still, after that there was a blank space on the page so I did some Mandalas a sort of flower doodle. I rate my work a 9/10.

  

New calendar art

Every year we make a new piece of calendar art, this year I did zentangling. the hardest part was finding the right colours to go on my hair that would not be the same colour as another it of my hair, the most fun part was drawing on the zentangle into my hair and the easiest part was painting the background a nice shade of yellow. I rate my art a 9/10 which I think is pretty good.

 

T4 W1 CC Research

This week we started to read a new book called Ghost about a kid named Castle who is really fast then joins a running club but on 1 condition that he will not muck up at school so far I am enjoying it so far and I think that it will be getting better by the weeks that we read.

The reason that I did weird world records is that in the first chapter in Ghost, Ghost was talking about funky records. So that's why I think we did this task. I made it SUPER colourful because I really like adding rainbow colours into my work. Overall I rate my work an 8.5/10 because my work does not feel like a 9 or a 10 but an 8.5.

One day activity

Just recently it was the school holidays and I have done lots and lots of activities but today I am going to write about 1 day especially.

My family and I have been wanting a puppy for a long time now, so on Sunday
or Saturday my mum, my brother and I went to Taupo for the day to see a puppy that we have been looking at for a while on Trade Me.

It is an English Springer Spaniel a great duck hunting dog while still being super cute. When we came to the man's house (who owns the puppies) to see our puppy, its parents and its siblings. They are SOOOOO cute. We are not allowed to take it away from its mum and dad until its 8 weeks old, now it is 4 weeks old. The puppy is a boy and we are thinking of naming it Caloss.

Taupo is the little highlighted part of the North Island.

    

Evil makeup

For our best blog on the block challenge, one of the tasks was to look through some of the chapter chat tasks from earlier this term, I choose to do digital design: make evil makeup. I thought that the hardest part was to finish it in time when usually we have 1 week to complete each task. I did this task in 2 days with the same quality as I would do in a week. I rate this evil makeup a 9/10 which I think is a pretty good score.

Old calendar art

These past weeks we have been working on calendar, sadly the teachers decided that people were doing calendar just for themself when most of the time the calendar art goes to grandparents so we had to completely start again. Each of the teachers had different ideas, I went with Miss Sowden doing zentangling. I decided that I will carry on with my old calendar art at home. Here is my finished art I think it turned out really good.

 

Best Blog on the Block challenge

This is my second out of 4 Best Blog on the Block challenges I had to make an itinerary for a one-week holiday in any country in the world. I choose Eourp because it has a wider selection of countries that I can go to. I choose to go to Paris for 2 days because I have always wanted to go to Paris for my whole life, I also went to Kyiv for 3 days because my mum was born in Kyiv and I think it is really cool what they have there, last of all I choose Greece for the last days because I have seen photos of Greece and it looks so beautiful. I really love what I have done.
