Resilience

I chose resilience because I want to show the power of never giving up and resilience in a nice way.

5 in the Hive

A few days ago the teachers gave everyone in the class a 5 in the hive bag where you put 5 things that show the class what it is like to be you.

 I put a measuring cup because I like baking with my mum, I put an arcade ticket because I love going to the arcade with my family, I put a bookmark because I love reading by myself, I put a sketch pen because I love sketching and I put a netball metal because I love playing sports.

If I could add something else in my bag I would add a family photo. I found out that Grace loves baking and I found that interesting because I love baking too.

Brainiacs Logo

I made this Logo because:

Weekend to Taupo

"We are on our way to the one and only - Taupo - my favourite town in the world!!". Whenever my family goes to Taupo we always stop at the One Road Ice-Cream Shop in Tirau which they have got the best ice cream ever in my option.

We are staying at this beautiful massive two story house which is right next to the Waikato River.  We tend to jump into it every day while the summer days are on. That is great fun!!. 

Mum's Friends from Israel stayed the night with us, their names are Hen and Peleg. They are so cool and fun. They made dinner for us they made spaghetti, french toast and chicken schnitzel and it was just great 

We also went to the AC baths and which is a pool that has higher slides, little slides and a rope swing and all of that is fun for the whole family.    

Letter to my family

Dear Orly, Rikki, Sol and Bear

Now I am in Whetu for the first time ever I have butterflies in my stomach I am so nervous. The day ended up so fun.

The people in my buzz group are Alice, Hannah, Ollie, Oscar and I. A few days later we made a Tikanga about "beeing" all-around awesome, having to always have your learning buzz on, bee respectful, bee truthful and bee mindful.

Now we are making a hive, we have each get a piece of the hive and on each peace we have some writing saying "My heritage, my family, my favourites, my tricky things, ME, my sports or clubs and passions and talents" and we filled them in.

We have been doing art rotations the first rotation for my homeroom was with Mrs Kennedy, which was a mirror image of your name. Now I am with Mrs Sowden and we are doing a portrait of where we come from.
